February 08, 2008 - UKFast is finalist in the ISPA UK Awards
UKFast has been confirmed as a finalist in the ISPA UK Awards. If the Manchester-based firm wins it will be the fourth consecutive year it has triumphed at the event – something no other hosting specialist has achieved.
UKFast picked up awards at the 05, 06 and 07 events, with the latter victory coming in the hard fought ‘best business host’ category.
This time round the firm is in the shortlist of five for the newly created ‘best dedicated hosting’ field, which recognises development at the higher end of the market. The results will be announced in London on 14 March.

Speaking about the nomination, MD Lawrence Jones said: "We are absolutely delighted to be in the final for this category. The last year has seen great data centre advancements and we have welcomed many more businesses onto our network.
“On the personnel side, we have doubled staff numbers and moved into offices at the top of City Tower, Manchester.
Also in the running for the prize are Netcetera Limited, Namesco, UK2 and WebFusion. Companies apply to be nominated for the award and the judging process includes three months of server monitoring, testing criteria such as availability and performance.
Jones added: "We're up against some strong competition this year from all over the country. And once again it's great to see that the majority of the finalists are from outside of the South East. We wish them all the best."
