On-demand application security testing solutions firm, Veracode, has received two 2008 SC Magazine Europe awards, recognizing excellence in the information security industry.

According to the company, Veracode's SecurityReview, the first application security testing solution available as an on-demand service, was the winner in the Best Vulnerability Assessment Solution category. Veracode was also honoured to receive the SC Innovation Award for technology innovation in the IT security industry.

Matt Moynahan, CEO of Veracode noted, ''Veracode is the first company to address the application security challenge in two unique ways - by offering application security audits as a service and by inspecting application code at the same level at which it is attacked - namely the binaries. Now in its thirteenth year, these highly acclaimed and prestigious awards are designed to reward excellence and innovation in the IT security industry. Veracode and its SecurityReview service were among more than 300 entries submitted for the SC Magazine Awards Europe. The panel of judges included chief security officers as well as high level IT security executives. Veracode was presented with these accolades at the SC Magazine Awards gala dinner on Tuesday 22 April, 2008 at the Hurlingham Club in London.
