Scene Group Oy Ltd., a web hosting firm based in Finland has deployed R1Soft's Continuous Data Protection. The service will be available to the company’s dedicated server customers as an ‘addon’ at no additional cost.

R1soft's solution provides full server backups four times a day with “multiple restore points, ensuring there is always fresh backups available”. The solution allows users to restore a single file, a directory, an MySQL database or “even a single MySQL table”. According to the company, the solution makes disaster recovery up to ten times faster.
